Daniel Shainberg, CIO, MBA

Daniel is a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer at Heritage. He serves on the Investment Committee and provides analysis for the firm’s overall investment strategy and private placement transactions.


Prior to joining Heritage, Daniel has managed over $1 billion in aggregate AUM for multiple single-family offices, including for the former CEO of Hilton Hotels. Responsibilities included overseeing both active and passive private equity investments, public market portfolios, and acquiring and managing multiple commercial real estate assets. Earlier in his career, Daniel supported Sun Capital Partner’s Fund V with $5 billion under management, where he invested across the capital structure of publicly traded companies and pursued private equity turnaround transactions. Daniel started his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse in New York City focusing on global M&A in the Packaging sector.


Daniel graduated with Honors from NYU’s Stern School of Business and holds MBA’s from both Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and Tel Aviv University’s Recanati School of Business Administration.
