Dan Haslam
Dan Haslam serves on the Investment Committee, leveraging his diverse background in a variety of real estate asset classes. Dan currently works as Chief Investment Officer for Sabin Holdings.
Prior to this, Mr. Haslam served as a Vice President for Excel Trust, which was publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange until it was acquired by Blackstone for $2 billion in 2015. He was responsible for all aspects of asset management for Excel’s commercial real estate portfolio, including capital expenditure projects, redevelopment, lease renewals, tenant coordination, budgeting and collections. Dan also spent six years as the General Manager for the Excel Centre, an office building in Beijing, China, where he was responsible for the acquisition, leasing and management of a Class A tower. Dan currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Sabin Children’s Foundation, (www.sabinchildrensfoundation.org), and is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
Dan received a Master of Business Administration, high honors, from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a B.A. in Economics, summa cum laude, from Brigham Young University.
